Meet Our Staff

Betsy Perry
M.A.P.T., O.C.S., C.S.C.S., Owner

Graduated with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, in 1996. She has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedics and is experienced in industrial rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient neurological rehabilitation, and sports therapy. 

She is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist through the  APTA (American Physical Therapy Association} and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning specialist in 2001 through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  Her other areas of experience include the use of the osteopathic manual therapy approaches of  Counterstrain and Muscle Energy Techniques. 

​Betsy has also been involved with ACT for MS, a local nonprofit group that assists persons afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis. She has formulated and performed the evaluations and reassessments for their individualized exercise training programs since 2007 as well as providing statistical analyses of outcomes for their grant applications and future research.

Tina Gotter

Received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, in 1996 and earned her Post-professional Doctor of Science in Sport Orthopedics and Anatomy from the German Sport University of Cologne, Germany. Dr. Gotter also holds a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Cologne and a Masters degree in Sport Science form the German Sport University of Cologne.

Dr. Gotter has been in the field of Physical Therapy for over 25 years and in the field of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine for over 16 years. Her clinical experience has been specialized in the realm of orthopedics with a particular focus on the biomechanical basis for knee and shoulder rehabilitation.

Tina has been a faculty member of the German Sport University since 2004 and is involved in research studies concerning the athlete’s knee. Over the years she has been working with many professional athletes and sport teams.

Received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California Los Angeles and has had 12 years of outpatient orthopedic experience in Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA with emphasis on manual and geriatric physical therapy. 

He graduated from the California State University of Northridge in 2011 with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.

​Alex has worked with a variety of patient populations and is currently focused on enhancing his manual therapy techniques and pursuing certification in Counterstrain and Orthopedics.

Jackie Gomez

Graduated from The Milan Institute in early 2011 as an AMA. Jackie has been working with us since 2011.

She brings 17 years of customer service experience and will assist you with scheduling appointments or discussing insurance benefits. She is our worker compensation specialist and you may contact her regarding any workers compensation questions. 

​Jackie is also proficient in Spanish and can assist with any necessary translation.  Jackie has been trained in our  programs and modalities and will often be assisting in patient care.

Michelle Paniagua

Has been the receptionist/billing coordinator at Perry Physical Therapy since 2014 with 17 years of experience in the field. 

Michelle can assist you with scheduling, verification of insurance benefits, medical billing and answering any front office related questions you may have. 

​She is trained in our modality treatment setups and  programs.  She is also bilingual and can help facilitate proper communication with our Spanish speaking patients.

Sarai Cervantes

​Sarai graduated as one of the top ten students in Horizon High School in 2019. She volunteered at Carrillo Ranch for 7 years. She can speak Spanish and English fluently and is happy to translate for patients. She can help with scheduling, insurance benefits and reminder calls.
